2 Weeks Today and I’ll be Competing

My training started really well this week but by Wednesday night the back of my knee/hamstring was bugging me.  I’m not sure why since it wasn’t like I did something and then all of a sudden it hurt, I just kind of woke up with it.    I went to a message therapist and she told me to rest and ice for the remainder of the week and that I could start back slowly next week.  I’m not worried since it is getting better each day but I hate missing my work outs!!!  I get so restless 🙁    I’m also disappointed since I wanted to go to Louiseville, Quebec today to train.

By Monday night I’ll be able to get back to train and I’m sure everything will be fine.  I can’t believe 2 weeks tonight I will have finished competing and we will all be at the awards dinner banquet.  Can’t wait!

  1. So where do we follow in 2 weeks for updates? Will Mom be posting on f/b while you are away competing? Joanne

    • I will be taking my lap top with me to work on my homework and I will updating this blog while I’m away.

I weigh in on Thursday and will do some stretching and training on my own. Hopefully I will be able to see some of Vancouver as well since I’ve never been there before.

Friday is competition day for black belts. The top three in each division will continue on to compete again on Saturday in a final round robin to select the National Team in individual events.

Since I qualified for the final round robin for both sparring and patterns I only compete on Saturday. I also will be competing in power breaking and team sparring.

      Wish me luck 🙂

  2. Cameron is thinking of entering in the Friendship Tournament on November 20 will you be back for that? and what about the seminar with Master Kou will you be attending? i know you have a lot of other stuff going on – but Cameron was hoping to meet up with you at one of these events.

    • Please tell Cameron that I will do whatever I can to be there at both of these events. As soon as I get back from Vancouver I will be playing soccer every Saturday morning from 9:00-10:30 so I will be a bit late. I look forward to cheering him on! The Friendship tournaments are so much fun. Train hard Cameron and see you soon 🙂

      • We will be following all your events. If you can make it to the friendship tournament that would be great – he is just hoping to do patterns with you 🙂

We talk about you all the time here in our home. All good – you have made such a positive impact on Cameron. Thank you for that .

        • How about you send my mom an email with the nights or days that Cameron trains and I’ll make arrangements to visit your school. That way, I can he can show me his patterns before the tournament. Just double check with Ms. Trigger to make sure it’s o.k. with her first. Thanks for again for all your support. You have no idea how much that means to me!!!

  3. Lets plan that after your National Championship’s – you have enough on your plate right now……..we’re cheering for you.
