Team Canada had an amazing weekend of training to help prepare for the World Championships in October. I was SO excited for all the competitors from coast to coast across Canada to arrive. Our country is so large physically that it’s hard to get everyone together. Although most events are individual, there are still team events and it’s also just important to train together since we are all representing Canada.
Several athletes from the West Coast flew into Ottawa on Thursday so they could have more training time as well as get used to the time change. It’s also a great way to socialize and see old friends and make new ones.
My Instructor Mr. LeGrow was very kind and opened the school (Team Blackburn) to the athletes so we could all train together. He worked us all really hard for about 2.5 hours and it was a lot of fun!!!!
