I was so impressed with how our team played today. We were able to stay focused for the full 90 minutes and our second half was actually stronger than our first half. It was really important that we won our game today (2-0) since the end of the season is coming fast and we need to keep winning now to keep our OYSL standing. We only have 4 games left and we have our work cut out for ourselves. Losing today would have really affected our standings, so we were extremely determined!
All we have to do is stay focused and determined I know we can stay in the OYSL. We have the talent – we just need to take advantage of every second in the games and leave everything on the field.
The weather was extremely hot and I had to take my puffer since I found it so hard to breath and I was thankful for the two water breaks. Everyone’s faces were getting redder and redder as the game went on.
